Spotweld Bits

Our Spotweld bits are made to effectively cut auto body panel spot welds. They come in two materials: cobalt and carbide altin. The cobalt spotweld bits feature a special point that allows the bit to quickly bite into the material preventing it from "walking" and the high red hardness of cobalt steel allow speeds of up to 30% higher than regular high speed steel. The carbin altin spotweld bits are designed to cut spotwelds made from boron steel. They are used in high tempurature and difficult to machine situations. The altin coating provides lubricity for ease of use. Made in the USA by Norseman Drill & Tool.
