Steel 1/4 turn shut-off valves are a general pupose ball valve made from bar stock carbon steel. They feature a full-port, chrome-plated ball with a PTFE seal and a carbon steel handle. They feature female pipe thread on both ends for threading onto externally threaded mating parts. They are made for use with air, water, oil, and gas and are mildly corrosion resistant but offer much higher pressure ratings than brass.
