Steel mushroom head drive pin anchors are made for light duty general purpose fastening to concrete, block, or brick. They feature a wide mushroom shaped domed head to provide greater contact surface area on the mounting surface and a steel nail that when driven into place expands the steel body, holding the anchor in placed. Some applications are mounting of signage and electrical fixtures to walls. Steel provides more strength than nylon but they are still only recommended for light duty applications. The required drill size is the same size as the diameter of the anchor. Zinc plated steel mushroom head drive pin anchors provide mild corrosion resistance.
