Quick Disconnect

Quick disconnect ball joint assemblies are and L-shaped assemlby with female thread on one side and a male stud coming out of the other side. The male stud is mounted on a spherical ball bearing allowing it to swivel in all directions. The assembly features a spring loaded design allowing for quick connections and disconnections. The sperical balle is made from case hardened low carbon steel, the housing is made from low carbon steel,the male stud is made from medium carbon steel, and the spring is made from stainless steel. The assembly is zinc plated and dichromate treated for corrosion resistance. Ball joint assemblies are also known as "heim" joints or rod ends.
