Our taper taps are made from high-speed steel which lasts considerably longer than other tap materials. They are general purpose taps that can be used by hand or under power and they comply to standard "H" limits to provide an adequate "class of fit". Taper taps feature the longest chamfer of all the tap styles which ensure easier starting. Made to be used in through hole applications.
